Consistency

Since writing my first blog I have come to really appreciate the main title of my blog...Make It Count!!!
I have been trying to wake up everyday and really appreciate the life that I am blessed with and make it a point to affect someone's life each and every day. I ask you to do the same also as simple acts can turn a person's life around more than you can imagine.

The title of today's entry is Consistency...I have been trying to apply this to my patients, family time and training for many years. Recently I have read many of articles surrounding people trying to find the secret to success in long distance endurance sports and its no surprise that the one common theme is consistency in your training. There are no super workouts, equipment, nutritional products (legal ones...ha ha)...its plain and simple of making a plan and sticking to it (consistency).

The fun part of consistency of training is that it applies across everything in your life. The more consistent time you can spend with your family the more full-filled your life will be. In my line of work as a chiropractor the more consistent patients are with their care the quicker I can get them back to what they enjoy. For those of you that love to set goals the more consistent you are with re-evaluating your goals the more you can always be 110% present time focused on executing those goals.

So the one thing that I ask each and everyone of you to do is find something in your life that you can make consistent and I can guarantee that you will enjoy the results. I have been consistent with my training for years and I am finally seeing the results of my hard work. My goal of incorporating more consistency is telling my wife that I love her each time I talk to her and never going to bed angry.

I want to also say thanks to everyone who has donated to Jimmy's fundraiser so far. I am blessed to have such amazing people in my life.

Make It Count!!!!
